Wow. This pregnancy is going by so fast! Of course, the next six weeks will probably crawl by, but I can't believe it's so close already. I suppose having a toddler (along with the two teenagers) doesn't give me much time for just hanging out preparing for baby. Our days are packed and it's only going to get busier. We did get the nursery painted already, and I ordered most of the baby stuff, so at least that's done. I don't remember being this tired last time, but I didn't have a toddler then...
I'm so excited to meet this new little McLean. His sisters and big brother will be able to teach him so much and give him lots of cuddles. Ian has been practicing with his doll, which is just about the sweetest thing ever to see. In the next six weeks, we have the start of school and the girls' birthdays, so that will keep us plenty busy, but somewhere in there, we'll find time to finish all the pre-baby preparations.
^^The picture on the left is from when I was 34 weeks pregnant with Ian; the one on the right is from last week, so almost the same time. It's fascinating to me how different my belly is with each baby. Ian was more spread out across the front of me - this guy is sticking straight out. I feel like this baby is more active in there too, but I don't know how much of that is just me not remembering perfectly. Here's hoping that this one ends up being as mellow as Ian!
Moving from America to France with two preteen girls, two dogs and a cat was an incredible adventure. After four years living just outside of Paris, the Family McLean headed back to the U.S. (minus the cat, but with a new baby boy). Four years later, we're leaving Raleigh, NC, and heading to Egypt (with another little boy in tow...)
